ZPlocal
Brand identity and editorial landing site shipped first; native mobile and web app launching shortly. A staged rollout that lets the brand earn its audience before the product opens its doors.
ZPlocal is being shipped in deliberate stages: the brand and the public-facing site landed first so positioning could be tested in the wild before the product surfaces. The mobile app and web app are currently in build under Zerocode, and the brand identity is being extended into product surfaces by Mati.
How do you launch a consumer brand without the product behind it — and have it feel complete rather than half-shipped?
By treating the landing site as the product, for now. Every page reads as a finished editorial artifact in its own right; nothing on the site references "coming soon" except where it has to. The brand stands as its own statement until the apps catch up.
- 1
Phase 0: brand strategy and verbal identity — locked before the first visual was drawn.
- 2
Phase 1: editorial landing site shipped (Next.js, hand-tuned CSS, no template smell) so the brand could meet the public.
- 3
Phase 2 (in build): native iOS and Android apps via Zerocode, designed against the same component library that runs the site.
- 4
Phase 3 (next): web app, ongoing brand extensions, and the post-launch support window standard to every Sitio engagement.
